If you mean something that holds long bonds, this, along with preferred shares are one of the few investment ideas over which I have some conviction. Interest rates, ( in North America ) have nowhere to go but up. When this happens, and even in anticipation of it, medium to long term bonds, and a lot of preferred shares are going to get killed. My own strategy is to exit any preferred share holdings, and bond etfs, and wait for interest rates to go up, after which I may buy bonds for the income only.
