Occidental Petroleum Corporation Q1 2008 Earnings Call Transcript

Since the price of oil has risen above all expectations and Oxy profits have become enormous over the last few years, why doesn't Oxy management consider helping its retiree's more by lowering our medical costs or getting us a dental/eyecare plan or a small profit sharing token of appreciation annually? It doesn't have to be extravagant, just helpful.

Did not the years we invested our talents and expertise for the growth of Oxy amount to anything?



We are on fixed income. Cost of living and interest rise each year but not our income.
