this message goes out to everyone.

i think its fair to say that "v winner" is the leader of this pack. this is a guy who REALLY knows his stuff. he has the education and the know how. he WORKS tirelessly for US! he's up all hours of the night! just look at what time his post's are!

to everyone... LISTEN TO HIM!! based on your responses to him or about him, you all seem to hold very highly of him. if he tell you "enough with the options!!" then, that mean... ENOUGH!!

this is not a guy we want to lose from here, so please don't push him away. instead, respect him for all his time and effort that he has already given us... AND EVERYONE SHOULD THANK HIM IMMENSELY!!!

with that being said.... "v winner", take your well deserved break... AND GET A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP :)!!! but please don't leave here, and please don't go on vacation until $100. you know as well as i, that until we get there, there will still be data and research to comb through, and that we can really help each other with this, as well as everyone else on this site.

      THANK YOU V WINNER!!!!!!!

have a great day all, and as always... good luck!!!

just for the record, all you guys who want in on the "options"...... I WANT NO PART OF THIS!!! as tedamerica says "excuse my volume :). but seriously, all you newbies to the market and options, sound more ecstatic that a kid in a candy store! you can make money with options, and you can also LOSE BIG MONEY WITH OPTIONS!!! i know i know, it sounds really tempting, especially when all these guys are telling you that they've made a killing and such. options trading is DEFINITELY not for newbies. please don't waste your money!!

sorry guys, but i just needed to get that off my chest.

      good luck to all!!!

ok everybody, something happened today which is crucial for V stock... and i'm surprized that no one mentioned it.... including Vwinner!

yes we all know that visa is solid. yes we all know that its gonna break $90 this week. yes we all know that its volume is incredible. yes we all know that on a day when the markets have tanked, visa still came out on top. etc...

what is it you ask? i feel like giving v winner a chance to figure out what i'm referring to ;-), but i've got to go, so hear it is. hold on tight....

Everyday that mastercard was up, so was visa. everyday that mastercard was down, so was visa. today, mastercard was up at one point almost $5. so visa was up today as well.

today, mastercard had a 10 point move... and closed down $5!! VISA DID NOT CLOSE DOWN!!!! I REPEAT, VISA DID NOT CLOSE DOWN!!! DO ALL OF YOU REALIZE JUST HOW BULLISH OF AN ACTION THIS IS FOR VISA'S STOCK!!! THEY BROKE FREE!!! THEY BROKE FREE!!!

or a company poised for a strong run, you'll still get your turn to make big money. we we're all there once, where you are now. we invested small, and built up our portfolio's over the years. investing isn't always gonna make you rich in a month or two. investing is all about research and patience.... then more research..... and then more patience. i think after reading all this, you get my drift ;-).

      go luck to all!!!

just to back up v winner (not that he needs my backing :), to all those who are looking to take out loans (1 way or the other) to buy visa.... let me make one thing clear to you. visa is NO guarantee!!! now don't get me wrong, i am majorly PRO VISA! but as any descent investor will tell you... no stock is guaranteed! when someone reads all of our postings, he or she can't even help themselves but buy visa, based on all our positive feelings towards this company, they want in! only invest what you can afford to lose!!! i repeat, only invest what you can afford to lose!!!

you see, visa is properly poised (for numerous reasons that we already know) to really make a run in the next year, and even more in the following year. but like i said before, please don't stress yourself so thin that you would borrow from 401k's, creditcards, etc. if you do, that would be a majorly foolish mistake!

i'm sorry if i'm coming on so strong, but i've seen to many close friends of mine get really hurt with this concept of borrowing. i could have made last week over 10k if i sold out and bought on the dip, but i'm holding for long term. visa is a very solid company.

if it helps those who want to take out a loan.... no this. good investments like visa don't come across everyday, but they DO come across every year or so. for example, in '03 we had google, then in '05 we had rimm (which really took of in the past 16 months, up over 400%!!!) so you see, don't feel bad that you didn't own 1000's of shares of visa. when (whoever you are) are more financially stable to invest more in a new IPO,

bullbaker, very cool logic! i have to agree with you. this new law will actually instill a new level of trust and comfort in people, by knowing that they may use their cards more often, with the knowledge of knowing that they can't be squeezed so easily anymore by the banks.

i've got 1700 shares. my days of day trading are over. too much stress for me ;-). i can see visa hitting 150 within a year, and i'm fine with that. as any descent investor will tell you... never put all your eggs into 1 basket! no matter how great and solid things might appear to be. the people who are investing in visa now, are people who have done their homework, and who know what great potential this company has before it. when we hear (hopefully no later than their next earnings call), that the company is seeing an "impressive" improvement, and is upping their guidance... THEN we will see a grand run in the stock, with BIG money (institutional/etc.) coming in! then we'll have smiles all around :-).

to all you guys who bought visa at todays highs.... DON'T BE UPSET! you all need to realize that within less than a weeks trading time, this stock as gone from a low of $71.00, to a fresh new high, almost hitting $88.00!! a 17 point move... just within 4 trading days!!! if this stock didn't have a pull back soon, THEN we should all be very worried! this pull back that we've just seen is great/normal/and healthy! based on the speed of the pullback ( a 6 1/2 point move downwards... on a day when the market is rallying) is such a healthy sign that people want this pullback done swiftly, so that they can get back in NOW.... and carry visa to its next destination, which is $95+. we will most likely see a small pullback then as well. THIS IS ALL NORMAL! DON'T LET YOUR EMOTIONS GET IN THE WAY OF YOU MAKING MONEY!!!

      good luck to all!

looking, its like my friend jim cramer says: "we don't care were the stock came from. we care where its going!!!"

if we look at the power behind this company, it really shouldn't have a problem surpassing $100 within a month or two. then with summer vacations and traveling, there should be an uptick with card usage. and then we have the big daddy of them all... christmas shopping!!

with all of there expanding world wide, etc. aw heck! with visa, its to easy of a money maker!!!

      good luck to all!

everyone, we really need to get the word out on visa. not to pump up the stock. any decent investor knows that this really is... WOW! let's not be greedy, and help our friends and family make money alongside with us. within 2 years, visa will surpass MC, and look at what has happened to their stock!

i truly feel sorry for the people who are sitting on the sidelines. truly. its like "v winner" said: "this is one of the best ipo's/investments in a long time".... especially in the markets current condition. its not connected to the credit crisis. its a safe haven for a product that billions use no matter what! my 12 month price target on this baby is 160+++!!!
