The 3 Wisemen: Silver, Sugar and Soybeans [View article]
For sure on silver though not necessarily 15 to one--and they say the white metals lead the metals market. That is, silver, platinum, and palladium. Palladium has done okay, but is nowhere near where it "should" be given its unique properties and how the other metals have shot up. Palladium is mined mostly in Russia, but also by a couple of companies in North America. North American Palladium (I have a very few shares) and Stillwater (I don't have). There are a couple of platinum group metals juniors in North America--Pacific Northwest and Ursa Major. I hold a little of each. I also hold ANO, which is in South Africa and isn't producing yet, either--but has its own electrical generation equipment.
Platinum is still going to go higher--even though the Japanese have a new catalytic converter, potentially--but just for diesel. Coming back to silver, which will rise a heck of a lot--that will be needed for the new Japanese converter. Silver has a lot of industrial uses but is also a monetary metal. BUY SILVER EAGLES, if you can find them.
