As for the Buffet bet on Burlington Northern, that's a bet on peak oil, not a bet on growth. It' a bet on diminished trucking and an interesting step at that.
Gold is being rebalanced this week in the commodity indexes. It's an odd move to decrease the weighting of a commodity that had a successful (up 5 percent) year. But okayyyy. Generally an index keeps the successes and ditches the failures. We have no dull weeks in gold and silver, I can say that for sure.

I'd rather own GG. :) Gold has moved steadily up this week. Next week? No one can time the market. The only thing everyone can say is gold and silver are on the rise. If not, some mines will close and gold and silver will be on the rise.
