  • Nutrastar International: Low Valuation And Upcoming Developments Should Result In Good Performance In H2:14 [View article]
I think Steffen brings up an excellent point. I got into and out of NUIN and made some decent %/$ on it but as GGeek mentioned I got out on its slide into the mud. I might just buy back in as well. TBD

I agree with you on the professionalism - better to address those concerns with a number and staff to answer questions. However, without money it should be acceptable for them and us as shareholders to obtain official information via social media...imo. When they become profitable they can step up their game.

  • GrowLife to Provide Additional Shareholder Support [View article]
I agree with you Tri - PHOT should not be hiring more people because of this; it costs money and they don't have it. Now if Apple had a trading halt, I EXPECT they would hire staff and fund a toll free number to address shareholder concerns. For this and any other startup the smart way is the free way - use social media sites to keep shareholders updated. This way you don't spend money you do not have while informing your shareholders of the most current status.

As shareholders we want them to be smart, and spending money on staff to basically repeat the same information over again and again is not justified.

CANN trading was halted and they resumed trading in the grey market and are still trading on the grey market. Should we not all expect PHOT to be required to follow the same path? FYI - just checked my TD Ameritrade account and it shows PHOT trading on the grey market.

From the most recent news link on PHOT on my TD account, "The Rosen Law Firm, P.A. announces that it has filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of purchasers of GrowLife, Inc. (OTC:PHOT) securities between November 14, 2013 and April 9, 2014, inclusive (the "Class Period"), seeking to recover damages for violations of the federal securities laws."

Per a PHOT press release "No lawsuits have been filed against GrowLife to our knowledge. We understand that several plaintiff-oriented firms have issued press releases indicating that they have initiated an investigation of GrowLife."

I say let these firms investigate away - until proven otherwise PHOT is operating with full disclosure and not jepordizing this company in any way, shape or form. Investor confidence may be shaken, but in my opinion investors should remember where and what they are trading. ANY form of involvement with cannibis and/or hemp comes with a heavy dose of stigma. I expect unjustified bashing because that is what the majority of Americans have been doing to those who advocate and/or use either for decades.

Despite the facts that the FDA granted orphan drug status for one of GWPH's canniboid therapies (Epidiolex) and the DOD has santioned a study on cannibis to treat PTSD it is still listed a schedule I drug. Obviously within the Federal government there is confusion and disorder regarding cannibis; some agencies are recognizing the theraputic/positive potential while others consider it as destructive as heroin. It will take a long time for the negative stigma to disappear and we investors need to hold steady and prepare for more beatings until there is a paradigm shift in American culture and most importantly in federal agencies toward these amazing natural plants with literally thousands of uses between them.

Finally, the one and only criticism I have with PHOT management at this time is the fact that they have incurred additional costs due to all this mayhem. Per CEO statement to shareholders yesterday "We have responded with a hotline for investors by phone at (866) 632-3111 and by email at shareholderssupport@gr... This costs money - why don't they just create a free FaceBook page (and/or other social media sites for free) and post updates there? They could reference the link in an open letter and urge any concerned shareholder to check there for information and updates.

If Apple had an SEC halt, I would expect them to open a special toll free number and perhaps hire additional staff to address shareholder concerns...not a startup with no $$.

Trabob while I agree it is certainly possible PHOT may fall due to this trading halt I hope it will not be the case.

The SEC, for a brief time, made this company APPEAR to have been involved in wrong doing. Their announcement stated "concerns regarding the accuracy and adequacy of information in the marketplace and potentially manipulative transactions in GrowLife's common stock." As a federal agency the SEC should at least issue a statement that reveals the specific reason(s) why PHOT was investigated and the results of their investigation. Other commenters have pointed out the issue of too much power within this agency.

All I know is PHOT is the same exact company today as it was 4 weeks ago. If investors lose all faith in this company because a federal agency performed an investigation that resulted in no negative findings...personally I am more confident than ever in this company; they just passed an unannounced federal inspection on their books and passed.

GWPH is one of the best in the industry - real science and real medicine. Excellent pipline of products across a spectrum of ailments. GWPRF trades at 1/12 the price of GWPH. GWPRF allows you to buy more stock with less $$. I am long GWPH. The only thing wrong with GWPH is the price...I beleive it can double if FDA approves Sativex this year after phase 3 trails but how many can afford it at these prices? I just realized I should buy some GWPRF!!! Easy way to make 2x on same company!!
