Asset Allocation and the All ETF Portfolio [View article]
Hi,
I have been experimenting with QPP, and so far I am quite impressed. I note that your recommended portfolio here projects numbers so much better than any of the other (more classical, index-ETF-based portfolio) mixes I have tried that it is not even funny, almost to the point where it veers on suspicious (I do a lot of statistical programming, and sometimes numbers seem so good that I figure there must be a bug somewhere). Could there be an erroneous assumption somewhere? If not, why don't more people recommend portfolios like this? If your analyses are correct, the US-index-based retirement savings that many people recommend come nowhere close in performance to this diversified portfolio. Am I missing something?
