        <![CDATA[I do not personally believe that his customers are shorting stocks prior to his articles. However, we will never really know.<br/><br/>I find it hard to believe that one individual whom is virtually unknown to the investment community has the ability to write an article on SA that has the capability to literally move a stock. Says very little for the wisdom of those who read SA articles and act based upon the article's content.<br/><br/>His perspective on CHKR appears to be sound. Personally, I am coming to believe that the newer, finite-life U.S. royalty trusts are scams. I own CHKR and PER, so I can speak from my own bad experiences. Fortunately, I am in both in the mid-teens.<br/><br/>The catalyst for these trusts will be events (read war) that will drive up the prices of crude, NGL's and NG. I think that in the next year or so the Middle East is going to erupt, driving oil to the $200 level and NG to double digits.<br/><br/>This will result in the trusts receiving higher prices for the underlying commodities and therefore increased distributions. Unfortunately, we might not be around to receive them.]]>

How would one spend it. Couldn't very well go to the supermarket with one once of gold worth $2000 and expect them to make change. On second thought, there won't be any supermarkets open now, will there.<br/><br/>Could possibly hold Canadian Maple Leafs for barter purposes. Think that ammo could possibly become a currency at some point.<br/><br/>Upshot of it all is if (when) our country goes into the tank we will need the means to feed and defend ourselves - not much else is going to matter.]]>
