Natural Gas: An Energy Resource Whose Time Has Come [View article]
There is no plan to stop using regular gasoline and switch the NG, we will have both. This is a win win scenerio for the consumer since you will be able to choose what type of car you want, NG or gasoline, and buy it. Its called competition and the last time I checked we were still, in theory, a capitalistic society. Gasoline is pretty much a monopoly, even though most dont look at it that way.

Looks like the winter is supposed to be colder than normal, which bodes well for NG and the associated E & P stocks. Getting in now would be the contrarian view based on all the negative comments that I'm reading, and ususally that is the view that makes the most $$$!
Bottom line, buy CHK now and reap the benefits of their continued hedgeing program (and higher 2010 prices due to less supply), which contrary to popular belief they are adding to as we speak, just look at the 6 month NG futures!

oh and by the way SIRI-Goon won't make 4 cents a day buying the stock since it opens gapping higher daily! If he refuses to hold overnight he will never get the gap, too bad sucker. Bought 10000 shares at .07, also bought 293 shares @ 6.79, got em all still.

Cramer never said anything bearish about TCK, did you even watch the show??? A caller asked what do you think about Teck Cominco and Cramer responded, "Ya know I thought about buying TCK, but my action owners plus members know what I did, I bought VALE instead today, you got my email today. V A I L - uhhh, the resouce giant, I bought that one! ....<ect.> "
Yes he spelled VALE wrong, and nothing bearing about TCK.
whoops, should have stayed long. its funny how everyone continues to be so negative yet the market keeps going higher and the bears keep yelling louder (and they 'claim' that everyone is saying that the market will go higher, which is BS, it so negative right now).
Cash for Clunkers May Cost Up to $45,354 Per Vehicle [View article]
who cares its called helping out the poor people by giving them a little extra cash, what a lame article. I talked my father into buying a new car, he traded in his 1981 station wagon, rust and all, got $4500 plus $4500 more for buying a Crystler, wound up paying 18k. I gave him the money to do it, I didn't need a second car either but was worried ever since he told me about how the brakes went out while he was driving it and he had to downshift and use parking brake just to stop!!! You tell me where else anyone could have got 9k for a car worth $400 (and who would have even bought it, trust me!)? Its a great program, he would never have bought a car otherwise and now I have a ride next time I'm in town visiting.

the move in stocks will happen before the rise in NG, trust me here. I think we are a the bottom, I don't see a pull back coming in the October shoulder season, due to the decreased rig count. Gas prices should move up to 4-5 during the remaining summer months, and through the fall we should see low 4s, but once the winter hits hold on to your positions as the ride up will be fast and swift. You will want to already own the stocks ahead of the move. As far as owning UNG, that can be done in November 2009, not sooner. CHK and SWN, buy sooner than later or you will miss the beginning of the run up, you will miss a easy 30% gain. I expect CHK to trade near $50 by January of 2011, if NG is at 8 dollars before then, logic tells you it should actually trade higher!
Fractured Wall Street Fairy Tales #1: Buy and Hold is the Best Strategy [View article]
its so easy to dis the market after 4 strong up days, of course we should pull back a little, duh! I think its really funny that this guy is waiting for a good entry point in several stocks, where were you in March 09? I was buying, that was the opportunity of a lifetime. I will 'hold' those buys (ex ample: TCK @ $4, CHK @$10, ATVI @ $9) for 5+ years before I decide what to do, of course if someone buys them first, which is possible, I will cash out at that time. Buy and hold was dead for 1 year, its now back in style since the bottom already dropped out!
Equities Are Likely Heading Lower: Resist the Temptation to Short Them [View article]
Ya I guess those data entry and call center jobs we offshored are the high paying ones that you are referring too?
The big problem is that nobody wanted them before, and now, when we hit the wall, everyone is wondering why we offshored everything. Well, because the cost of living in America is expensive, that's why!
But, not to fear, TGIFridays and Subway are now offering $5 meals, woot!
More will follow, deflation is in session.
