    It is true that we as a global economy are really in for it, with multiple shoes dropping each week. It took so long to build this failure,and it will take a long time to correct it; at least 5 years. We never will be the same economy as before so better get used to living within your means. Easy credit is gone, plush executive pay is gone, gov't favoratism for certain companies is gone, and the best of all.....a criminal president is almost gone. All are great changes and will benefit us in the long run.

    Keep your powder dry. Good things will happen to the prepared.

    Does Toyota or Honda have any interest in taking over the assets, not the companies, of the (not so)Big 3? Haven't read anything, but this would be a great use of the facilities but not the failed business practices there when they do fail in the near future, and they will. But, it could only work if the unions were not a part of it at all and the present autoworkers had to apply for all new jobs as non-union workers.

    Maybe that is just not possible in Detroit.
