  • Is Oil a Bubble? Part 3 [View article]
Kahn---Very good analysis. Almost the entire problem is caused by the democrats. If they continue to prevent drilling and the use of oil--millions will starve. The party is now entirely focused on man caused earth warming which is unproven. Neither sun power nor wind power is practical. The only power that can substitute for oil is nuclear which the democrats will not use.

  • Is the Minimum Wage Increase Behind the .50% Jobless Rate Jump? [View article]
Its not just the teenage workers but also the handicapped workers who will be let go. Does the government have the power to set prices and wages in a free society? Of course not!! This is the evil of socialism.

Of course the democrats and some republicans are handmaidens of the unions.

  • 22-Year-High Jump in Unemployment Hits Stocks and Dollar [View article]
Wong--I agree. The unemployment is not high. (Look at Europe who have had 8-12% unemployment for 20 years). Some unemployment is good because it keeps wages and inflation down. Profits are high. Most of the unemployment are the young grads who will take jobs finally but wont ask for the moon.

Thanks for the information on the carry trade. Stay long!

  • Preparing for the Fall [View article]
Nothing strange about this post. A genius speaking to the unwashed masses how only he can help them. (sounds like Obama). Sorry I think the man in the street is far more intelligent then most geniuses.

The worst thing an invester can do is to go in and out of the market like a scared rabbit.

A lot of interesting ideas but probably not practical. I see electricity made by nuclear power as the only way oil can be replaced.
