Thank you for the compliments, look for SOP and potassium nitrate to having pricing power going forward. New technologies hav made the margins much better going forward.
Very good article, I believe you are correct with respect of placing to the stocks you have mentioned. How do you feel about companies that specialize in Sulfate of Potash such as SQM and CMP. This is a smaller subsection that is realizing large profits and SOP is selling for upwards of $1000 a ton. Due to its usage with chloride sensitive plants, there are larger margins and farmers are much more apt to pay more for fertilizer. God Bless

Excellent article, I have enjoyed your writings. One question with respect to potash. Your price quote with respect to potash seems to be in regards to muriate of potash, what about pricing with respect to sulfate of potash. Little is said about this smaller subsection, but crops this is used on are generally more profitable, ten time revenue in some cases. Should SOP hold up well in this environment as it is a much smaller portion of overall costs?

Maluman, do some research with respect to RTP and BHP, they are mining potash and are looking to buy in. Although their positions are small with respect to this commodity, they none the less are trying to start producing.

Trader Mark, I always like your information. Where and how much do you believe this pullback(when it happens) will be. POT is one of my top holdings and I add to it every time these stocks pull back somewhat. I also own MON and IPI as a speculative potash producer. It is my feeling that IPI has their first earnings session in the bag and will come in with numbers no one expects and this will push the likes of POT, MOS, and CMP up where I would then decrease my position and place the money into royalty trusts until it happens. Your thoughts?

Spectacular article, not only informative but also very well written. I currently have positions in Potash and Intrepid Potash as I believe that both have great growth over the next 3 years. If you have any information on IPI, could you please write an article or short comment and I will check back.
