    National chain store sales fell 1.3% from a year ago. Where is the recession/depression? Or is this number just as bogus as the data put out by the real estate trade association on home sales and price changes?

    Buy stocks for long term growth of capital. Conventional wisdom goes south. Which stocks? GM because it is worst performing when the company's sales are collapsing and the management has an empty begging bowl out before congress with the word "bankruptcy" written in the bottom?
