    Why is the market dropping like a stone? Simple. The trailing price earnings ratios are being adjusted dowward. Why? The 100M households in the US that have had no increase in income for some time but face higher energy and food prices will not provide aggregate demand sufficient for the corporate base in this country to continue to prosper.
