  • Potential Long-Term Value Of Vringo Is $100 A Share [View article]
An analysis similar to Erik's, whereby VRNG increments their strategic position from solely NPE to a mobile search business plus (NOK-based) NPE probably in partnership with a much larger entity (about a half-dozen or more spring to mind) which would provide infrastructure and other resources, occurred to me about two weeks ago. I longed the '14 options ITM. Obviously high/non-quantifiable speculative risk. I provide no PPS view here.

Good casting. The Coen brothers to write the screenplay and direct, or perhaps Ridley Scott, and Jerry Bruckheimer does NOT produce.

"More than likely the defense will be the VRINGO Lang patent which addresses Content Filtering for advertising. The big question is whether they will own it-or license it." Care to expand on the meaning of the last sentence? Thanks.

Extremely intelligent view on the situation I had not previously conceived at all. This is perhaps very substantive. Thanks.

  • Correction In Silver Is A Longer-Term Opportunity [View article]
I would request Mark Thomas address my point about mandatory delivery of physical metal upon settlement of futures contracts rather than cash settlement, as he said in the article and as quoted in my prior comment here.

  • Why Hedge Funds Bought Vringo [View article]
Your implication is that Witttgenstein's analysis of philosophical logic is not reality ;-) ? As opposed to a meandering discussion, not of filthy lucre, but of the mere genesis and potential of such? I am shocked!

  • Why Hedge Funds Bought Vringo [View article]
I would contrast the Nietzsche contribution with a Wittgensteinian approach to building a meaningful proposition; to quote (the final) Chapter 7 of the great Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus in its entirety: "That which cannot be spoken must be passed over in silence." (From memory;apologies if trivial error.)

I have been watching Eric Sprott's activities for about a year or so, and have great respect for him. I too am long PSLV. Another point:
"There is also a clause in every futures contract that it can be settled in cash, and not actual physical delivery." I have been advised, recently and severally, by experts in metals commodity trading that the exact opposite is true. Please explain if I and many other more knowledgeable people actually "in the pits" are mistaken. I believe Sprott has written also on this exact issue.

  • Vringo: Winning Against Google Is The Only Solution [View article]
I have mentioned in posts on different articles: I s/w Andrew. VRNG has 99mm f/d shs o/s inclusive of all wts and options, plus 10.3mm shs from the recent placement, equaling about 110mm f/d shs o/s.

  • What Is Vringo Worth? [View article]
I appreciate your thoughts, as always, but I think you are too conservative with the acceptable floor price for a VRNG acquisition in these circumstances: the capable management/litigation team, and all the other issues discussed in the rather large record of various prior articles.
"A buyout can happen in the range of $10-15 a share."
I don't think VRNG will do that deal, pursuant to your overly conservative case above and the pricing of the recent placement: multiply by about 1.5-2.0 for a target range, methinks.

  • Vringo Shares Will Quintuple From $5 And Eventually Hit $50 [View instapost]
    Hello asia,
    1. 99mm shs o/s f/d plus 10mm in recent placement.
    2. Treble damages, IMO, are very much on the table as of now.
    3. Other named defendants, as of now, are probably a bit concerned.
    4. Bing!
    5. NOK patent actions as VRNG is an NPE and thus capable of a more aggressive posture.
