China's Improved Living Standard Contributing to Global Economic Growth
      Cindy,
We are seeiing activity in Sina Corp

Earnings are expected Wednesday and the stock has already run into the early section of this slower Monday morning. The stock has spiked 7%, our HeatSeeker has been lighting up with the increased market action of buyers positioning in the SINA May 55 calls paying $.75 and $.80. Those large institutional buyers have sparked some retail follow up buyers, paying increased prices. This jump in the price of the stock and the options has us looking for a pullback and an opportunity to consider if the institutional buyers will return….

      China Stocks: April Was Kind
      Sun,
We are seeiing activity in Sina Corp as you know less known internet related company than the GOOG, YHOO, BIDU and others, but raises attention every few months. The Market cap is well below those big 3, but like NTES and SOHU, does maintain near a $3 Billion market cap with the growing backdrop of China in the horizon.

      Notes on Sherwin-Williams' Earnings Call
      Sean,
We are seeing heavy put action in Sherwin Williams going in to expiration this week, but point out that this appears to be a roll, or calendar spread. When someone has positions in one month and wants to stick with the position for another month, quarter etc, they sell their expiring options and buy the other month, usually at the same strike price. Thus they are "buying time", so this is frequently referred to as a time spread, or calendar spread. It is not indicitive of anyting other than the person(s) want continued protection, and or exposure for longer than their expiring position would provide. It is not the same a fresh money being committed.
      Are you still long SHW?
      Ac

The roll is from the May 55 puts to the June 55 puts and is about 6,000 contracts of each.

Blue Coat Hit by Riverbed Miss?
      Eric,
We are seeing unusual activity on the BCSI calls in May. The calls(right to buy) only have a few days left to expire. Perhaps you would know? Are they a take out target?

Attention Value Shoppers: 13 Cheap Retailers on Sale

      Alan,
Im feeling the $600 rebate check thing how ever we are seeing PUT (right to sell) activity on PSUN. Not only that they moved the earnings date up from 5/21 to 5/8 ahead of the Option expiration and before retail sales numbers. The volatility has been shifted from the June Cycle
