  • Has Jim Cramer Crossed the Line with Sirius XM? [View article]
I think Cramer means well and he's fun and entertaining. He's human and as such is subject to error. You could start your own show, but if you were right 100% of the time it wouldn't be as entertaining as his.

He's right they are ugly. The question is, do you want the money from the electricity they generate or the aesthetics of not having one? If I had a ranch in the middle of nowhere, I'd take the money and run.

We're gonna sell the tractor and mortgage the farm and let Aubrey take us to the promised land! What's that guy from XTO know anyway? If he knew anything he would have come up with a better name for a company than XTO. Maybe SOL or something.

  • Is There a Future for NG Powered Vehicles? [View article]
Natural Gas is a great crutch. It's 80% Hydrogen already and there's over a 100 year supply and the down side is? Also to the person concerned about liquified gases in tunnels. We're talking about compressed gas, which is methane which is lighter than air and dissipates when released as opposed to propane which is liquid and heavier than air and pools when released.

  • Natural Gas & Wind Power - The Pickens Plan [View article]
I think the transition to Natural Gas will be made by transportation companies first and smaller vehicles later. To switch your fleet from expensive diesel to a fuel that's less than half in cost is a no brainer. When that happens, smaller compressors for cars will soon follow and proven supplys of natural gas are now estimated to be well over 100 years. Renewables will most certainly will be developed by then, but why not use an abundant, clean-burning, economical fuel that's available totally at home instead of sending all that money overseas?

  • Will Automakers Switch to Natural Gas? [View article]
There is an estimated 118 year supply of Natural Gas in proven reserves. It's abundant, clean-burning, and comes 100% from the good old U. S. of A. and is half the cost of gasoline. Where's the problem with it? If I could find somebody to convert my Navigator I'd be there in a heart beat and I'd put a "Phil"(Fuelmaker Corp.) natural gas compressor on the wall of my garage and never see another gas station again.

  • Rant Anniversary - Cramer's Mad Money (8/1/08) [View article]
Norman you ignorant s__t!, (as Dan Ackroyd would have said to Jane Curtain). With regards to Chesapeake Energy and the potential use of Natural Gas as a vehicle fuel, Cramer is right on. The fuel is abundant, clean-burning, inexpensive, and all we will need for the next 120 years, or so, is available right here in the United States.

  • Chesapeake Energy: Natural Gas Supply Responds to Price [View article]
Kurt your inciteful remarks are right on target. Natural gas is plentiful, clean-burning, and inexpensive compared to other fuels and an interrupted supply for many decades is to be had right here in the good old U.S. of A. If I knew where I could get a conversion done to my SUV, I would do it tomorrow. Fuelmaker Corp. in Canada makes a Natural Gas compressor that fits on your garage wall and fills up your vehicle overnight. Your good for approximately 200 miles the next day. The device is roughly the same size as an old pay phone and makes the same amount of noise as a clothes dryer and is no more dangerous than your water heater. Unless you had to go on a long trip, you would never have to go to a gas station again!

  • Profiting from the Pickens Plan: FAN, Clean Fuels, Fuel Systems [View article]
Honda makes a production Civic NGV that comes from the factory set up to burn Natural Gas and Fuelmaker Corp. in Canada makes a Natural Gas Compressor that hangs on your garages wall and is no more dangerous than your water heater and makes the same amount of noise that your clothes dryer. You fill up every evening and drive 200 miles during the day and never go to a gas station. How could things be any easier than that?
