ETF Update: There's Gold in Them Thar Hills!

I purchased this ETF (GDX) back in March near the top & I havnt seen it get close to what I paid for it. Unless Gold hits $1,200 I am not sure how these "bundled" Gold Stocks will detach themselves from the overall tumbling equity markets.

Gold/Silver Ratio Still Widening

What in your opinion is considered to be the most fair and proper "Ratio" historically between Gold & Silver? I have always heard about these ratios and interested to know what is considered the normal ratio.

I disagree that ETF's are a bad investment. CEF, Central Fund of Canada holds 10oz's of Real Silver for every once of Gold. It is accounted for and has been in existance since 1961. Gold will soon hit $2,000 when Oil reaches $200 per barrel.
