    During the worst years of the Great Depression the top 75% of Americans worked.

    That is, the privileged, intelligent and ugly ambitious always had work.

    Today, the bottom 25% of Americans, when they work, work at dirty, low paid jobs whose wages are driven down by competition from illegal immigrants from third world countries.

    Your economic fish net is not fine enough to catch interesting fish.
