Guaranty Financial: Private Equity Bidders Not Allowed Even as Monday's Deadline Approaches

As I've said 666 times before, we need to read a little bit more history right now, both economic and political.
Because, to float a cliche, the past is prologue.
It's always been about powerful groups struggling to maintain their power against outsiders, pretenders, upstarts and last, but not least, idealists.
Their methods have always been war, banishment, prison and finally, auto-da-fe. These powerful groups have just as often been "privateers" as they have been governments.
It isn't about what is right or just. It's about power.
It's very painful to have to learn that lesson over and over again each generation. History is there to prevent that painful relearning process from being necessary. Even the history of the last generation.
