Is The Greater Use of ETFs in Mutual Funds Positive?

This is not a problem. Considering the abysmal returns of most mutual funds, diluting the role of the active manager can only be an improvement. Secondly, wrapping ETFs inside mutual funds is probably the only way Morningstar will ever get to like ETFs.
