Here's another. The US/UK banking systems are insolvent. Let them declare bankruptcy and re-organize/dissolve/m... each other et al and lets get on with the big hurt. There is no way around it. It will sting in the short term buy everyone will be better off in the long run! Politically unpalitable to politicians who can't bare to tell their electorate the truth, but hey, the truth hurts sometimes and the truth needs to be told.
