Oh, har, de har-har-har. Were you paying attention to the failed Treasury auction this afternoon, there, Sparky? That was the ONLY reason for the latest Roman-candle rally in the dollar. And it failed, miserably. Today marked the turning point, the point where the Fed is going to have to start being Buyer Of Last Resort for future Treasury auctions. That means the REAL monetisation has o/~ "... only just begun." o/~ ( where are The Carpenters when you really need them? ) That means the Money Presses, already running at REDLINE RPM, are going to be cranked up even FASTER.

The dollar is the New Carry Trade Spear Catcher; get used to it.
