I'm a 50-something businessman who owns the 2-G iphone. I love this phone like no other gadget I've ever owned. True, its slow, and it makes it hard to trade stocks while I sit in a doctor's waiting room. But I can still do it! I'll probably stick with mine for another year or so before trading up because its already very very good. In the meantime, all you iphone wannabes should consider buying stock not only in Apple, but also (even more so) in Skyworks (SWKS). Supposedly they have 3 chips in the new iphone. They're a relatively small company and will probably generate $7 or more in revenue for every one sold. Plus they are a leader in 3G chips and also sell to RIMM and all the others. Buy this now for the post July 11 surge when the iphone innards are revealed.
