Read page 22 to see a real description of Sinoval and all the Chinese manufacturers. It is clearly stated that they have production plans to produce over 1,000 windmills / year. The demand for these towers is very real and growing as the Chinese economy needs all the electricity they can get. And the grid interconnection technology that AMSC's power electronics division provides is essential for weaker transmission grids like the ones found in China and India. Large voltage swings which would naturally occur with wind turbines can damage manufacturers equipment and that is a very expensive problem to deal with.

Investors, do your homework first. The shorts are starting to get desperate to find bad news here. They were short 6 million shares about a year ago and now they are short 9 million shares and the price is dramatically higher. With continued good news they need to find anything they can to find an exit strategy.
