Nothing that has been said here is going to change a thing; no matter how insightful or inane. I'm not sure why the author took the time to write the article, or why everyone (including me) is taking the time to respond. Does it really make us fell better? Are we somehow vindicated that someone else may share our opinion?
I honestly think the root of the problem is people in general. I am surprised that murders and suicides have not skyrocketed. There is not a single time that I read this site that I haven't wished that most of the authors and respondents would all die at either their hands or mine.
My point was not necessarily "bullish". I'm just tired of "the sky is falling". The system is broken, I agree. But what are some of us accomplishing by bringing up the depression? Do you know anyone who has stocked up on food, bought a gun and put all their money into gold?
I wonder about all of you doom and gloomers. You are so quick to lament at how horrible things are and how the end is neigh. What end? Do you really think there will be bread lines? If summer wasn't almost here, I think some of you might consider burning money for warmth. Do something constructive and jump already.
