  • Peak Oil: Caused by Geology, Politics or Infrastructure Issues? [View article]
all and good SUPPLY analysis, but no demand analysis, which is what will make the difference. Improvements in transportation, heating, efficiency and lighting technologies are only now being adaported and we have MUCH further to go. While it's be a rough ride over the next century, the transition from oil/fossil fuels to nuclear/solar/wind/bio... will keep the wolf from the door.

  • Watch for Yourself: 60 Minutes Oil Story Was Spot On [View article]
Please..of course a SIXTY MINUTES article blames greedy speculators and hedge funds. Tell me O mighty worshipper of 60 minutes(and probably Barack Hussein as well)...COLLEGE TUITIONS HAVE SOARED FAR MORE THAN OIL PRICES IN THE LAST DECADE.

Are hedge funds buying admissions to harvard? Is there excess trading in Yale futures?

With all due respect to seekingalpha, they need a proofreader and someone with a Bachelors degree..in ANYTHING...even underwater basketweaving....to weed out the CRAP.

  • The IEA Annual Report: A Dire Picture of Energy Supply and Demand [View article]
The sky is falling the sky is falling! Where is the club of rome when ya need them. Lord help us...boy the world is such a scary place when ya take trendlines and extend them endlessly into the future.

    I remember forecasts for $200 a barrel oil....BY 1990!

I needed a good laugh this morning, thanks folks.

As the previous letter makes clear, dollar for dollar the best investment is in conservation. Gonna be tough to cut my $20 a month heating bill, though.
