  • Japan to the U.S.: 'We Don't Want to Exclude You, But...' [View article]
<<< The reality was that, after the WWII, the USA imposed itself on other countries in the same way Soviet did. Using its military presence and power, the USA acted as a colonial power in Latin America, Asia, Africa as well as bulled its European friends. It acted no different than the Soviets in the occupied Eastern Europe. <<<

D'oh! Just compare the economic and political performance of western europe and Japan/S. Korea (the allies who we 'bullied') with the performance of Soviet puppets in eastern europe and the far east. As for latin america and africa they are socialist tinpot basket cases and always will be.

In fact, the USA should adopt a 'practive what ya preach' approach to our foreign national debt. How about Debt forgiveness for environmental conservation? Lets open a few more parks in various US states and then write off a couple of hundred billion claiming we saved the world from global warmingism, ozone holes, deforestation, and halitosis. How about we estimate the PRESENT VALUE of all our aid to Africa (a rathole if there ever was one) and 'write off' part of the debt to countries (hmmm..such as china?) who know go in and stab us in the back with natural resource contracts? Its pretty obvious that our Anointed One is going to turn us into a 3rd world country...we may as well start ACTING like one.

  • BRIC to BIC to BICI? [View article]
Russia is an will remain for the foreseeable future, what it has ALWAYS BEEN....a corrupt, authoritarian "third world country with nuclear weapons. "

India is an emerging world superpower with a geography which dominates its ocean (The Indian Ocean, for you publick skool illiterates) more than any nation on earth...and one brimming with sea lanes for commerce between asia (including china) and Europe.

Thanks for the brief comment on each chart and your overall perspective on a 'low volume short covering rally" which I have noticed as well in the SPY and DIA indexes.

One comment on the gold H&S: Edwards and MaGee, the tech bible editors, make it clear that a valid H&S top has less volume on the rally to the head than on the left shoulder; this does not appear to be the case with your GLD chart. Still, I agree GLD looks toppy. A multiyear chart shows a triple top at these levels over the last 16 months.

Just a few comments and suggestions for improvement....

    (1) It would help to have fewer charts and more comment on how they speak with one voice (or do NOT, as the case may be. Brevity is the soul of analysis....

    (2) I notice you have overlooked currencies in this blast of charts. UUP and FXE would be helpful.

    rock on.

  • New Economic World Order: U.S. No Longer On Top [View article]
I really suggest you read STRATFOR's analysis of this similar issue, you political and economic lightweight. Alot of good trade surpluses, economic integration, and socialist safety nets did to protect people in England, Germany, Switzerland or numerous Asian economies. Their markets are down more than ours.

Go ahead and cheer the Euro...a currency backed by no taxing power, by countries that have military and intelligence networks so impotent they can't handle soccer hooligans, a region more dependent upon russia for petrofuels than a fetus is on its mummy for food and oxygen.

Europe comes to America hat in hand for rebuilding of a world financial and trade order. The only question: what will the Americans demand this time?
