      I am seriously confused as to what TRULY makes Orion different other than a compelling story and strong PR.

      The "3 phase" approach has been done for decades. Companies such as Solatube have had a "lightpipe" (phase2?)type of solution for years and years.

      Furthermore, the (phase3) ability to turn lights and light fixtures on and off remotely is nothing new, proprietary or, in many instances, desireable. It is inherrantly MILES more complicated and expensive than the pure retrofit market from which Orion springs and, as such, companies are hesitant to invest.

      Finally, there are now dozens of HIF, High intensity fluorescent or Fluorescent High Bay manufacturers in the market and the claims from the company that there lights are "the brightest and most efficient" is patently false and can be easily substantiated as such.

      Just one persons opinion here but one born of vast industry specific experience, knowledge and, most importantly, based in reality.
