An iTunes Subscription Could Subsidize the Apple Tablet

Methinks what you miss is that a well executed tablet could replace the need for a laptop for most consumers. Especially if it s dockable.

I am surprised by how much I use my Touch around the house (I also have a laptop and blackberry). It is instant on (unlike a laptop), easily portable around the house (again unlike a laptop), and has far greater battery life (unlike a laptop). While the Touch quite useable for web surfing and e-mail a larger screen (a tablet) would be most welcome.
