Is Apple More Undervalued Than Other Tech Sector Stocks? [View article]
Lead us to the promise land oh great Andy Zaky. These commandments we will obey. No longer shall we worship the golden cow of GOOG and RIMM, the voice in the sky hath spoken.
Seriously, good article, especially about what to do with $110 billion.
20% unemployment might help us to build more factories and build our own products. Modern factories are not the sweatshops of yesterday. Most work is machine driven, not hand. China has enough wealth now to do fine without us. I know, a bit hyproctical because Apple makes much of their products overseas. I do hope the "rumor" of an American Apple factory is true(highly doubt it), and that it "somehow" lowers costs or does not raise them. But think if an iPod cost $219 instead of $199 because it was made here, it wouldn't stop me from buying, it would encourage me, but maybe not all people would see it that way. Interesting point Philly. Russia should definetly be considered, and guess who's their neighbor?

Yes, Google does not build the phone and will not be in that business, however they will probably not get the opportunity to put their platform on a phone as nice as an iPhone. They will get the opportunity to eat up precious bandwidth with their ads on iPhone/RIMM wannabes(yes giving RIMM props for once). As for me, as soon as my contract is up, I am getting an iPhone that is being protected from unnecessary applications and ads from Apple's scrutiny of 3rd part software, which I applaud. I HATE what ads have done to the internet! I get so frustrated with them sometimes that I disable Java, but then I got to YouTube.... DOH!! *wonders if Apple has a YouTube style site* Oh, and now RIMM is partaking in the annoying full page ads that you have to click "continue to page" to get to the link that I thought I was originally clicking on!! Please Apple, do not do these type of ads!! EVER!!

LOL, I love Katt's comment! Maybe we should rename it the iPorn?! I also agree with DavidK, Apple WOULD get killed for bringing out garbage like this!!! And for those of you who say it is only a first generation phone, go back OVER A YEAR AGO and look at Apple's first gen phone! The only bad thing it had was the Edge network, which is pretty much on par with TMobile's limited 3G(I say that because others have said it, I personally don't know). I would take a 1st gen iPhone over this iPorn anyday!

I don't think he really meant he should be a CEO, even though he said it. But with all the focus on Job's health it is very important to recogize other people in the company that make it a success. Apple is not a one man company no matter how many people say it is! Only the media makes it out to be that way. We don't see any facts in the article relating Ives to Apple's success(time wise), but I am assuming he must have come along right before the iPod?

I own AAPL stock, yet I do not own an AAPL product. I am not into the fashion aspect of the product, but the reliability of it. As a Windose user for years my next computer will be an Apple notebook as I have always had issues with windows. XP has been the most stable, but it is slow and annoying. The only reason I don't have an iPhone is because I need to let my Verizon service contract expire first, which will be awhile, stupid me. So for some, I guess Apple is just a fashion thing, but for many others Apple is a more reliable product that is focused on the consumers needs. That said, I wish I had sold at 200, bought at 120, and sold at 190, but hindsight is 20/20. Right now the stock is about as good as it is going to get, maybe down to the 140's again briefly if more economic worries. Hope they take care of MobileMe soon, getting sick of hearing about it.
