  • Is Apple More Undervalued Than Other Tech Sector Stocks? [View article]
Lead us to the promise land oh great Andy Zaky. These commandments we will obey. No longer shall we worship the golden cow of GOOG and RIMM, the voice in the sky hath spoken.

Seriously, good article, especially about what to do with $110 billion.

  • The Year of the Bear [View article]
20% unemployment might help us to build more factories and build our own products. Modern factories are not the sweatshops of yesterday. Most work is machine driven, not hand. China has enough wealth now to do fine without us. I know, a bit hyproctical because Apple makes much of their products overseas. I do hope the "rumor" of an American Apple factory is true(highly doubt it), and that it "somehow" lowers costs or does not raise them. But think if an iPod cost $219 instead of $199 because it was made here, it wouldn't stop me from buying, it would encourage me, but maybe not all people would see it that way.
    Interesting point Philly.
Russia should definetly be considered, and guess who's their neighbor?

  • Five Reasons RIMM Will Continue to Fall  [View article]
This article is not necessarily true. And Motorola is a better comparison. They had an awesome product, "at the time", but was not able to keep innovating. There is a lot of pressure when you are at the top like RIM and Apple to keep people willing to pay the extra money for their top end phones. If RIM and Apple do fall into the trap mentioned in this article, then someone else will come along and have that next "must have no matter the cost" phone. Apple and RIM both have the cash to keep innovating through this crisis, even though sales may "not accelerate as fast" for a bit.

  • Revisiting the iPhone's Browsing Market Share [View article]
Yes, I agree with User, iPhone is used on the "real" internet.
Before the iPhone, what did we have? Ohhhhhh corporate emaillllll ooooooooo ahhhhhhhhhh, big freaking deal for the average consumer! Now everyone is scrambling to compete with Apple's new iPhone, but what would they be doing if there were no iPhone? Probably jack! If you are a Nokia or RIM fanboy you should be thanking Apple for getting your companies off their fat butts. Frankly I don't invest or buy products from companies that sit down during a marathon.

  • Five Great Quality Companies: Are They Too Expensive? [View article]
I own AAPL stock, yet I do not own an AAPL product. I am not into the fashion aspect of the product, but the reliability of it. As a Windose user for years my next computer will be an Apple notebook as I have always had issues with windows. XP has been the most stable, but it is slow and annoying. The only reason I don't have an iPhone is because I need to let my Verizon service contract expire first, which will be awhile, stupid me.
So for some, I guess Apple is just a fashion thing, but for many others Apple is a more reliable product that is focused on the consumers needs.
That said, I wish I had sold at 200, bought at 120, and sold at 190, but hindsight is 20/20. Right now the stock is about as good as it is going to get, maybe down to the 140's again briefly if more economic worries.
Hope they take care of MobileMe soon, getting sick of hearing about it.
