      I feel like a fool on this one/ ETFC/ but I took my losses and made more with ABK ambac what a cool run 35% in 5 days after dumping etfc.

      ETFC is what it is and the xperts state that this puppy is not going to show signs of movement until Volume increases and value of $5 is consistant.

      I am learning a lot Grass Hopper on these crazy financials of which all are in the CAN!!!!!

      I still like this stock but not until it hits the $2s low etc....Keep buying on the low/Hang Low on this one Late

      waf76 what a bunch of Hoey BS and if this happend It's your own fault for not securing your assets prior to setting up your account.... 20% is not that big of deal. Oh yea shorting Financials real smart idea. I Like ETrade and what they have to offer, you will not find a better platform or security out in the market so wht don't you short ETrade it seems this is what you are up to...       I hope they investigate the "shorting" of this stock and if it is a wide spread issue within the industry.. ETade seems to be rubbing the Broker Industry the wrong way and has created enmys across the board.. I still like this opportunity to make alot of money, but I must trade out when I can as the power of the Big guys becomes evident... The management of ETrade now is awsome these guys have done well, I thought they could have got more for the Canada deal but they secured cash which is always good for the bottom line... The stock needs to breach the $4.00 mark to see huge up swing after that as they all will pile on. Good luck to all.

      What happen to everyone? Etrade starts moving to the up side and everyone seems to keep quiet. I know don't want to say anything until the stuck gets to atleast $5/ share....       JB you need to cool your jets man!!! Let this puppy lie...... ETrade has more to do but I am swinging on this stock as well ST on the good and bad days...

      I see the Bank stocks killing us all on this one though, unless there is a fight to quality. I am betting on the fact that Oil has ben artificailly pumped and the Specs have ruined the economy by buy Oil at rediculous prices.

      I am seeing the turn though as well, the economy is still moving and I don't see a Crash on the horizon, lets see what Oil does and then lets talk

      Oh, the upgrade by S&P was based on the price falling below $4 and nothing more, until ETrade can show profits we will see this stock ST between 3.5 and 4 and hope for the best.       Jun 12 01:20 PM

      Just like a bunch of kids fighting over a toy (ETrade) I think this is really funny, "buy a stock on the merits of the company" Pop said time will tell and know you entrance and your exit points... The real question is when are you guys heading for the Door? :)
      As far as customer service ETrade has the right people and really good service, I spent a half hour with one rep working on tax stuff IRAs and the like and shifting cash around she was great and she made it happen.... I was very impressed!!!! GO ETRADE GO.

      Yes I should have been more specific, and you are correct in stating the obvious, I still think that wholesaling of the Home Loans is not fare, and even if you say that Lenders buy and sell the Loans in bulk or in pools the average joe should be given some right to buy a loan that is discounted. Yes you are correct in the sense that institutional buying of loans in pools is to spread the risk etc. but talk about shorting the stocks, European shareholders took it on the chin by buying into those so called home laon investment funds....

      Does anyone know what the short estimate is on this stock? I mean are we talking under 2.50? Please excuse my ealyer comment on the "Shorts" lol, but I am really curious as to what reliable theory is out there on ETFC, I just can't see this stalk tanking! I learned early on not to bet against the Fed, and that's what the Shorts are doing, not a very smart move. Truely I thought that ETFC should of held on to the good Loans and tanked to bad. Food for thought why is that Lending institutions can sell our home loans to ther institutions at a 30% to 40% right off and not offer it to the owners, Lendees..... for the same...       I liked this stock at 2.50 and at 3.80 I just keep buying!!!! I would love to know what the "shorts" have in their pants, I guess no BALLS!!!
      Jimmy was figured out so easily. This stock is Stair stepping and looks to be finding resistance at $4.40. I'm not shure if this puppy has leggs even with new management. Risk Vs reward, by the time investors figure this one out it will be all over. The Feds are pumping tons of cash into the system, and the US $ has been in the can so I figure this stock will hit $12.00/ share by years end.

      I am Long on ETFC no suprise!!!
