Russian Energy and U.S. Implications [view article]
I have a lot of trepidation about promoting the use of natural gas in autos. Sure, there'd be less carbon emissions, but if you think gasoline prices are high, just think what natural gas prices would be. The cost of heating would skyrocket. Fertilizer prices would jump through the roof, as if they aren't already heading there already. China is already heading that direction, building out a massive NG infrastructure for use in motor vehicles, and already having trouble supplying large enough quantities of NG for all the stations that are coming on line. Exploration and production for NG would never be able to keep up. May 18 09:27 AM
