    Semi-log charts show true percentage changes in value. A 50 point move at 200 is a 25% change, at 400 a 50 point move is 12 1/2 %. A linear chart is the better way to go!

    The Nov. elections will be the most important since we elected Ronald Reagan. We have no Reagan running this time but we must elect the most fiscally conservative candidates for all offices or we will lose what is left of the enterprise system which has served us so well.

    Jack is right on. Short term prices may decline as the dollar stengthens, but only if producers accept lower margins. In the face of increasing demand in Asia & the much higher cost of new supply( ie.tar sands, deep water production) prices are much more apt to increase significantly.
