IPO Windfall Coming for Blackstone Group?

Schwarzman may be an egomaniac (read the p.1 profile in the WSJ from a couple of years ago), but he's a damn smart egomaniac. If he's selling, you don't want to be buying, and I guarantee you that he's crossing his fingers and toes right now praying that the slightly-ajar window he perceives doesn't slam shut before he can unload all that stuff. Personally, I don't think he'll get his chance, but then, I'm not a guy who could afford to spend $3 million on my birthday party...

...and even if I could, I think I'd cut it off at $2.75 million... Anything over that is just distasteful.
