Tom- this is exactly why there are thousands of investors out here would love to find an ETF product that focused on the Energy Transmission/ Storage/ Efficiency sector. We can't practically take and monitor positions in all these companies, especially when for most of us this won't make up more than 10% of our portfolio.
Come on, I know you and John and Charles can develop an index that an ETF can be based on.

The Year Ahead For US Wind

80,000 wind turbines spread across the midwestern wind belt will have effects on the climate. But those effects pale in comparison to the effects of farming, coal burning, and the myriad of other effects of us 6.9 billion humans. I read that an estimate of the total weight of humans, their livestock and pets now equals close to 97% of the total weight of all land and air animals (excluding insects). If this is even close to true, then we have alot more to worry about than wind turbine effects on the climate.
