U.S. In the Midst of a Revolution

Yes the sky is falling and everyone in this country is going to take a zen like approach to life by saving and being green...No more desires for cars or big houses. Please...nothing has changed cause human nature hasn't changed. People are creatures of habit and will regress to those habits given time. Plus, I remember pre 1990 when we were in a cold war with Russia so I don't know about that peace dividend.There is always some conflict going on to fund the defense industry.
