  • Micron: New Projections And Price Targets [View article]
Tai, I respect your technical analysis skills, and your comments. But while I'm not an expert on technical patterns, I'm seeing a problem with the Head and Shoulders pattern you mention, if you are talking about the pattern you see that developed beginning in January., experts on technical patterns, has this important rule regarding Head & Shoulders patterns:

"Prior Trend: It is important to establish the existence of a prior uptrend for this to be a reversal pattern. Without a prior uptrend to reverse, there cannot be a Head and Shoulders reversal pattern (or any reversal pattern for that matter)."

The prior trends was already down, so there is no rising chart to reverse. It was already down from the mid-30's to 29 before this pattern emerged.

  • Micron: A Tough Quarter Before A Solid Second Half [View article]
Nice closing paragraph in the Anandtech ariticle:

"I now understand why Intel-Micron claim that their 3D NAND technology comes with disruptive cost because it really is the most efficient 3D NAND technology we have seen so far. It has twice the bit density compared to Micron's latest 16nm 128Gbit die, which should be enough to mitigate the higher production cost per wafer and make 3D NAND a natural successor to Intel-Micron's planar NAND. It will be interesting to see how Samsung's third generation V-NAND stacks up against Intel-Micron's 32-layer 3D NAND, but it's clear that Samsung must be able to increase the die capacity to remain competitive as it's more than just a game of layers. • More on Micron: Cleveland warns of PC DRAM price drop (updated) [View news story]
@Zach: Also on the webcast today. They said they pretty much have had their hands tied on when they could buy back stock, as they had blackout days before and after earnings, the Seagate announcement and one other I can't remember right now. They also said that they consider the price around here to be favorable to buy at (my own words, but something to that effect).

  • Zecotek Photonics Enters 3-D Printing With Disruptive Technology [View article]
Are you still doing work for Nimbus Financial, which is somehow connected to GPHBF, and still hold shares and options?

    From your website:

"Disclosure: I am long shares of Graphene 3D Lab. Due to the strengths I found in management and the technology of Graphene 3D Lab, I approached the company and key investors while the company was private, offering my services as a consultant. I have since signed a contract for those services with Numus Financial of Canada which began August 14, 2014 and runs through December 2015. Cash value is $110,000 USD with options for 100,000 shares at a price to be determined by the Toronto Stock Exchange on or before September 1, 2014. I do not have a contract directly with Graphene 3D Lab and comments have not been directly endorsed by Graphene 3D Lab management."

How do you feel about GPHBF? I'm down 70% since I dipped my toes in. It was such a small position I just let it ride. But stock price seems to indicate serious trouble.

Do you wish you had never written about that company too?
