I disagree with your thesis. what you forget or ignore is that the giant deleveraging that is going now is causing the evaporation of billions of dollars (disinflation) from the world economy. the new monies by our new president is a small step towards recovering some of that loss . we do not have inflation we have deflation !!

the s p 500 gain aprox 0 % during the last 10 years . USA savings bond did much better during that time . i know because my kids fund were only in those ultrasafe securities.
