Why bring up Jobs' health again?! I really wish that writers would put in a little more effort into their work...it's embarrassing, really. Or find a different profession, please. Despicable.

Napster's DRM-Free Music Store Will Struggle

Competition is typically good. Unfortunately for consumers, Napster just seems, well, confusing to use. The different member packages (including the option of its slightly different MP3 store) leaves much to be desired. As a consumer, I'd like to learn (right away) what my options are in clear and concise fashion. Some will like Napster's model...but as the author said, "Napster's store will have a hard time luring customers away from other available options." True IMHO. iTunes is just easier, more convenient, at prices that are clear, and let's not forget, seamless with the ubiquitous iPod. As a consumer it's at the point where it's just too much an obvious decision to make...Buy an iPod, load iTunes, and enjoy!

Could iPhone Subsidies Be Apple’s Ticket to Mainstream USA?

Apple (while growth is quickly accelerating) is still way behind Rim's BB. I'd like to see Apple at or near BB's customer base in order to achieve more of a critical mass base. For this reason, Apple should make every attempt to get prices down to about $179 where the majority of smart phone users would willfully plunk down cash to experience the glory and efficiency of the internet, email, phone, and, oh yes...the Mac OS. Because we all know what's next. Mac's acceleration (of computer/entertainment producst) into Education and Consumer offices and living rooms!
