The maximum pain will be for the market to continue its rise.
Consider this, if a stock falls from 50 to 5 and then rises to 7.50, everyone goes on and on about the masssive 50% increase off the bottom...it just has to pull back after such a massive 50% increase.
Well, no it doesn't.

I think there is much litigiation and lawsuits in the future for PMI.
Why would there only be tobacco lawsuits in one country in the world?

Ritchie Bros. Sees Inconsistent Trading in Canada and New York http://seekingalpha.com/article/108616-ritchie-bros-sees-inconsistent-trading-in-canada-and-new-york?source=feed#comment-318377 318377 A lot of stocks really jumped unbelievably...at or maybe after the close?
I focus on the banks mainly and it was seen there as well.
For example, look at TD which supposedly closed at 46$ on the TSX Friday.
Yet when I look at a 1-day minute-by-minute chart for Friday, TD does not trade at 46$ ever.....looks like the highest was 44.50.
This is true on bigcharts.com and also on the TSX own website tsx.com charts.
Similar for the other banks, RY, BNS, BMO etc.......anyone shed light on this.........when did those 'high water' trades take place and why are they not seen on the intra-day charts??
What a rigged game.]]>

Life Insurance companies always have this problem every cycle.
They have to match long-term liabilities and long-term assets, but they have to mark-to-market every quarter those assets.
One quarter where the assets decline serverly, even though they are not needed for perhaps decades out in the future can bring the company down.
We've seen this happen before in previous real estate cycles causing several life insurance companies to fail.
Curious that the industry has not found a solution to this long-term matching of assets/liabilies and the need to mark-to-market the assets short-term. Till they do, this problem will repeat every cycle.]]>

Brands Makes Sense http://seekingalpha.com/article/106483-analyst-upgrade-for-yum-brands-makes-sense?source=feed#comment-308991 308991 The one thing that has kept me away from it is that most KFC or Taco Bell restaurants that I pass by are usually empty most of the time (except of course those at ultra-prime locations).
They never seem to have the customer traffic of a MCD
Also, there is only one Long John Silvers that I have seen near where I live and the parking lot outside it is usually totally empty.

I think you are underestimating the litigation risks for PM.
Any country that PM operates in can sue it at any time.
There could be years and many cases to look forward to for PM in many different jurisdictions...sure sounds potentially messy and ugly to me.
