  • Peak Oil for Dummies [View article]
Peak Oil, Low Oil, High Oil is all Politics. Political contributions should only be allowed to the general public with limitations and politicians shouldn't be able to be bought and paid for by special interests and corporations in America. What is happing to nuclear energy? Why has it been stalled for years while France and the world receives it's benefits and submarines and ships have used it for years and years?

  • Some Thoughts on Jim Cramer (aka Mr. Market) [View article]
I listened and SOLD on 1/8/2008 and saved a pile of money. Sold losers based on his advise. I should have sold earlier but even though I delayed after hearing his advise to sell I still saved a bundle. Sold AXP, GE, WB, and others.
You don't have to do what he says-that's up to you!

  • Why Is Paul Volcker Being Ignored? [View article]
People who had money back in Volcker's day loved the high, 15 or 18%-I forget which, interest rate on savings and they thought he was fine. He put untold number of businesses out of business, the unemployment rate skyrocketed and it was a hard time. He broke inflation and nearly broke the economy doing so.

  • Sysco: My Favorite Stock [View article]
Sysco is now expanding in Ireland so it follows that they are still in an expansion mode and there are plenty of opportunities for the company to keep growing. This is what Sysco has done since it was first formed and they certainly know how to do it. The management is in control of the company and treats their employees fairly as well as their suppliers. In short-they know what they are doing.
