  • Kinder Morgan Partners (KMP) restarts the 307K bbl/day Trans Mountain pipeline after repair crews finished their work on a defect that prompted a small oil spill - roughly six barrels - earlier this week.     Convertible Notes are bonds that can be converted into Common Stock whenever the holder wishes. Preferred are stocks that act like bonds, with a stated interest rate and protection in the event of a liquidation.
