  • Why Pure Play Energy Storage Companies Could Double for Investors [View article]
mayasc - chinese are not so dumb.

if you want a machine to convert grain + leftovers into lean meat, pig is probably the most efficient machine.

granted that johnson controls is not a pure-play storage player, still they have breadth & depth of expertise as well as manufacturing capability, don't they have some potential to participate in the development program you visualize?

  • Alternative Energy Storage: Cheap Will Beat Cool [View article]
those of us who do heavy duty graphics have gotta have macs (have 4 in the house @ the moment).

my old G3 tower (OS9.1) ran both msword & wordperfect as well as a buncha other stuff. it caanot run safari or firefox.

since no wordperfect utility is available for OSX i am stuck with some wordperfect files that can't be accessed. this is one type of obsolescence, software makers only cater to ibm compatibles.

  • Alternative Energy Storage: Lithium, Lead or Both? [View article]
i see no discussion of edison (nickel-iron-KOH) batteries here. in 1910 (before gasoline took over the market and everybody started driving long distances all the time) a lot of vehicles used them.

chris B - i bought my first riceburner in 1970, my second riceburner in 1974 (still own it & drive it), my 3rd riceburner in 1980, my 4th in 1981, etc. the clincher in each case was undervalued yen.
