This Recession Is a Reset to a New Normal [View article]
Great article, you would think as a country we would look at successful examples like the Irish, who have created a pro business atmosphere. Instead we are bent on punishing success and propping up failure. We are headed towards the French model which has been disasterious. This is Darwinism in reverse.
What seems interesting to me is the two presidents with the highest increase in the DOW, during their tenure, are also the two that were president before the two largest crashes.
Recent Policy Decisions and a Greater Depression [View article]
It was congress and their pie in the sky dreams of 'every American deserves a home of their own' that started this mess. This was compounded by Barney Frank and Chris Dodd (head of the Senate and House banking committees) that stuck their head in the sand as dollars were filling their pockets from the banking industry. This is indisputable, look at where their campaign contributions came from! It was Bush who tried twelve times to get these committees off their butts and do something. Barney Frank less than a year ago was blasting the republican stating, "Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are financially sound." Youtube it and see for your self! The situation we are in was very forseeable. I had read several books on it three years ago. Just like the coming hyperinflationary storm that is coming is forseeable. No country in the history of man, has ever been able to spend their way into prosperity. Every one has eventually had to devalue their currency after hyperinflation. People like me will do very well in the coming times, because we know what is happening. What is going to be very interesting is seeing how the democrates will convince the American 'Sheeple' that it is Bush's fault, like they have everything else that has been their fault.

Of course it won't change. Barney Frank and Chris Dodd are both still in charge of their respective Banking Committees. THESE were the people in charge!!! Even though both have been guilty of blatant conflicts of interest (B. Frank - Homosexual relationship with a high ranking official at an institution he was overseeing, C. Dodd for receiving financial gifts AKA free mortgage that doesn't need to be repaid) that if perpetrated in the private sector would have got them both fired. Barney Frank one year ago, was blasting the republicans stating Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are FINACIALLY SOUND. But the media has been on a fifteenth century style witch hunt. Both then and now, the wrong people were the targets. This is why journalism is dead in this country.
A Sloppy 60 Minutes Segment on Oil Prices [View article]
This is why the upcoming movie, 'Media Malpractice' has to be a blockbuster. We need something that will once again give us a non biased media. Currently because of their socialist agenda true journalism is dead in America.
Watch for Yourself: 60 Minutes Oil Story Was Spot On [View article]
Speculation is based upon some market reasoning. It is not like the days of the tulip bulbs. If it weren't for three billion people throughout the world experiencing year after year of double digit standard of living increases (increasing their oil consumption in the process), and oil production being stagnant, then speculators would not have had the motivation to do what they did. It is because of them that our extremely inept and inefficient do nothing congress, got off their lazy rear ends and started moving towards opening up new areas for drilling. This had an immediate reaction taking wind out of the sales of the speculators. Combined with the economic downturn the oil speculators trade vanished. What I am afraid of is with prices down our congress will once again put their brain dead heads in the sand. Once this happens and the economy turns around, I will be one of those speculators. It is because of them that domestic production will eventually increase, saving us from an even larger catastropy.

This is why the upcoming movie 'Media Malpractice' is very important for everyone to see. This article highlights just the most recent of hundreds of ridiculas claims made by our 'media' that John Q public believes like it is the Gospel. A true non bias media without a clear cut objective is dead in our country. To them we are their Sheeple.

Praire grass is the most efficient by far in producing ethanol. It is six times more efficient than corn and twice as efficient as sugar cane. It also can survive without extra watering or fertilizer.

Market for Electric Vehicle Batteries Is Heating Up [View article]
Electric vehicles are great, but they are going to create the next major catastrophy if we do not act immediately. A Prius takes 36kwh to charge. Multiply that times several hundred thousand. Now add in the average household using 8% more electricity then we did ten years ago. Now equate in no new power plant. In MIchigan we have been trying to get permits for eight new much needed plants for many years. Forbes and The Associated Press both have had articles recently warning about brown and blackouts in the near future. Even though wind and solar may be more expensive, they are our only option to augement power during peak demand periods. Solar produces the most when the power companies are at full capacity. This is on hot sunny days when everyone has their airconditioning on. Check out michigansolarsolutions... - mss blog and fun facts sections

Microwave ovens, CD players, DVD players, refrigerators, are all items that also were way too expensive to be in any way practical. It takes innovation and economies of scale to make them practical. If someone was to read this article ten years from now they would laugh and be amazed at how short sighted people can be.
