John,

Why do you think ISR has yet not experienced any significant growth in market capitalization despite all the encouraging details that you have listed (which I do find convincing)?

Also there was no significant Q1 revenue increase and margins remained relatively constant.

My first thought would be barriers to physician adoption or upcoming competitors. What are you insights?

Thanks,
Peter

        Scott,
I'm interested in what your opinion maybe on why ISR has not experienced any significant growth in market capitalization?

It has an FDA approved therapy system that is proven to be highly effective WITH fewer risks, approval in Europe and marginal penetration.

I'm inclined to believe that it is not only because it has not been noticed yet - 98% success rate vs prostate is hard to miss. My first thought would be barriers to physician adoption or upcoming competitors. What are you insights?

Thanks,
Peter

I believe the short interest for SPPI is because many are betting on the Leucovorin Calcium shortage will end. (You can keep up with that here http://1.usa.gov/Oy3abb , ctrl+F it). I've been monitoring it for the last couple of months and it has been repeatedly re-verified as delayed.

I think SPPI has been taking off recently due to the exponential growth in new Rx (through WK available through Bloomberg). Leucovorin Calcium new RX has stagnated and actually begun to decrease.

I speculate that as a generic, Leucovorin Calcium is not a priority for Teva, APP and Bedford to aggressively restock as they have higher margin drugs that have more promising futures. (Again, that was all speculation, I have not done any specific models or calculations).

The short interest MAY possibly be overblown and SPPI bulls may get a great squeeze.

        GB,

I do believe that ZEVALIN has serious growth potential with SPPI. I think Raj will fully take advantage of the fact that both ZEVALIN and FOLOTYN are targeted to the same hematologists/oncologi... Not only do I think Raj can get Zevalin out of it's slight slump I think he'll be able to simultaneously boost FOLOTYN sales as well.

Peter
