My silver is still 40% greater than basis.The fungible stuff.My Chinese stuff is anyone's guess and I got lots of Chinese silver coins that are underweight and magnetic :( they are out in the open and ,hopefully would be stole first ! The only way you could get to the good stuff is if I opened the safe,in that scenario it's all gone to crap anyways and my only hope would be if my neighbors could knock them down on the way out (actually more plausible than you would think!very good neighbors!) I don't own any gold because I think that silver is far more precious,the world just doesn't know it yet.And I hold silver not in anticipation of Mad Max but of Mad Money ,when I can trade 1 oz of silver for hundreds if not thousands of the paper of the realm :) Not to say that guns ,ammo tuna ,home grown agriculture and a years supply of H2O are not also on board, but I'm not really holding silver in anticipation of doomsday,I'm holding for PAYDAY. jmho

Gee, I think I'll have another beer and admire my silver stash. It's STILL worth more than I paid for it,even with the massive market manipulation.

The premium on silver(if you can find some ) is ranging from 10 to 40 %
How the price can decline during an apparent shortage is beyond me so I just keep buying it at every opportunity.The premium I pay now will be small change when the paper market implodes :)

After tech and 911 wiped me out I starting "collecting" silver,and am up %100+.Which,I believe is just the beginning.Between increasing industrial demand,lagging production and investor demand that is still miniscule, silver is posed to be the investment of the 21st century.
The word for silver and money is the same in several languages. No other commodity will weather the coming storm as well. Not that boose,smokes and tuna don't have their place,with sufficient lead to keep them in house :) Only silver will be readily accepted when currency isn't worth the paper it's printed on...............Unles... we turn into waterworld HAHAHAHA............. we're FREAKING DOOMED!!!!! woops,a mugumbo guru moment :)
