I am a value investor to the greatest extent possible. I also favor dividend stocks. I try to be a buy-and-hold investor, but sometimes I can't avoid the tempation to ring the register or to accumulate the inevitable tax loss. The main thing I have learned is that I have lost more money by selling too soon than for any other reason. I reside in Henderson, NV.
I am a Malaysian Chinese. I have been investing in the Malaysian stock market for a long time.
I was working in bank before I retired and became a full-time investor. I believe that fundamental analysis and technical analysis are equally important when investing or trading in the stock markets. My favorite mantra is: Never catch a falling dagger.
I am a humanistically educated oil & gas professional and part-time day trader (still full-time working at 74), with limited technical knowledge regarding company balance sheets and reports but many years of experience investing in the Tokio and New York stock exchanges, with modest success. Presently I work in China and am long on CCME.
Knowing that all technical analysts know their profession but they themselves are split into pro and con on any given stock, I 'sympathize' with (not trust or follow) those whose educated guess resembles mine.
