  • An Open Call To Apple Bears For Debate [View article]
Michael Blair is on a fixed income and makes decent money writing penny a hit Apple bashing articles with very provocative headlines. This insures that Apple fans feel utterly compelled to read his worthless drivel, thus guaranteeing his monthly little income check. As someone who has actually been trading for a living since 1996, no intelligent professional traders are shorting Apple right now. There are literally dozens of better short candidates. Only imbeciles who count on seeking Alpha income even write about such silly subjects.

  • Apple: Every Vote Counts [View article]
Apple has made one huge blunder after another under the guidance of Cook. They made a massive mistake in waiting to introduce a large screen phone. They are quite literally being left in the dust by Samsung and Google. I don't want and don't trust that bumbling imbecile Cook to spend the extra cash on anything other than a large buy back. At least that way, this incompetent buffoon will do no harm. I am voting with Icahn, he is correct. You should be glad he is involved now, or Apple would be well under $400 per share most likely.

  • Emerging Competition Threatens Apple In 2014 [View article]
I disagree with Mr. Blair consistently and he has been wrong thus far. I am long Apple in a massive way. However, when every analyst, every financial pundit, your next door neighbors, barbers, and waiters are saying to buy Apple because it is undervalued, it is certainly a reason to be frightened. I have never seen any stock go significantly higher when everyone and their brother says you should be buying it. There you go, you just got my free Halloween scare!

Be very careful about criticism of Mr. Blair. I pointed out his terrible track record in his last article, and my comments were deleted and I was scolded by the SeeekingAlpha police--seriously I really was!

  • U.S. Global Investors: The Micro-Cap Takeover Target With An 80% Upside [View article]
Good article, except for your praise of Frank Holmes. This man is a bumbling imbecile. How he has managed to keep his job and continue his extravagant lifestyle at the expense of shareholders is beyond me. Why he has not been nominated to the annual list of of the worst CEO's in America is a travesty. Fear not, I have nominated him for the upcoming list. I am certain he will win this title. No CEO that I am aware of has damaged any company so quickly and repeatedly as Frank Holmes. The fact that he has not resigned in deep shame is a true testament to his greed. This man is an incompetent disgrace! No suitor will be interested in GROW as long as this buffon is at the helm.

  • Calendar Q2 iPhone (AAPL +0.6%) sales are trending towards ~30M (above a ~27M consensus), says Jefferies' Peter Misek in an info-packed note. Misek also: 1) Believes Apple has set aggressive Q3 and Q4 iPhone build plans, with nearly half the Q4 builds involving a cheaper iPhone. 2) States the iPad Mini is "cannibalizing more than expected," and expects the current model to be kept and discounted after a retina model launches. 3) Expects the 5th-gen iPad to be ~50% lighter and 30%-40% thinner. 4) Thinks AT&T (T) and Verizon (VZ) are talking with Chinese white-box OEMs about selling carrier-branded phones, in an effort to cut subsidy costs. 5) Believes consumer BlackBerry Z10 (BBRY +0.5%) sales have slowed, but that Q10 sales are better than expected. [View news story]
The Z10 is a wonderful phone for the low budget consumer that cannot afford a iPhone. I have tested one out and it fails in every respect to match the iPhone, starting with significantly lower grade display.

  • Apple (AAPL +1.9%) roundup: 1) Brian White cites Chinese 3G growth as a reason for his $888 PT: he points out China's 3G sub base rose 83% Y/Y in April to 293.1M, and is expected to hit 375M-400M by year's end. China Mobile (CHL - previous) had 120M 3G subs; China Unicom (CHU) had 92M, and China Telecom (CHA) 81M. 2) Taiwan's Economic Times reports Apple is testing 1.5" OLED displays for an iWatch, and that "market rumors" indicate Foxconn has received iWatch trial production orders. 3) Digitimes reports MacBook orders are expected to grow 20% Q/Q in Q2, as Apple launches new systems sporting Intel Haswell CPUs at June's WWDC conference. [View news story]
It would be easy enough to verify if Apple was indeed hiring 40,00 workers. It would be hard to hide that!
